2-5 minutes with your body submerged in 40-50° is the recommended time to receive the benefits of cold therapy. Important to note, this is a recommendation, and not advised for everyone.

The ideal temperature to submerge your body up to your neck for a cold plunge is below 59° Fahrenheit (15° Celsius).
Yes, you will need an Apple Watch in order to use the GoPolar activity tracker, which allows you to track your cold shower, cold plunge, and sauna.
However, you do not need the Apple Watch app to find cold plunge locations. That is accessible on this website after creating an account (coming soon).
